Guidance from NRIPA

“One of my friends Shri Snehal Mehta & Mrs.Yamini Mehta, our future member had a very typical confusion about their visitor visa. Their visitor visa for USA was expiring in May 2010 and they wanted it to be extended and visit USA during April-October 2010.The confusion was, their green card petition was pending with  US Immigration and Naturalization  Services and hence they were apprehensive whether the visitor visa will be granted or not.

Our ex. President Shri Madhusudan Mehta guided him and suggested that all facts may be disclosed and try for visitor visa renewal and accordingly both of them got the visa extended and no specific questions were asked in the visa interview regarding green card petition.
Shri Snehal Mehta telephoned me to inform about the visa clearance and also requested me to thank NRIPA for timely guidance provided during our monthly meeting held on 7th March  2010.”
